| 08/01/2012 (HONG KONG, 8 January 2012) –JUSCO Lai Chi Kok Store, the first Kowloon flagship store of AEON Stores (Hong Kong) Co., Limited (“AEON Stores” or the “Group”) (Stock code: 984) had its grand opening at Aqua Marine in West Kowloon yesterday. The flagship store is the Group’s sixth GMS in Hong Kong, has a total investment of over HK$70 million funded by internal resources.
The three-storey JUSCO Lai Chi Kok Store occupies an area of approximately 240,000 sq ft, carrying a wide variety of food, fresh ingredients, house wine , and trendy apparel as well as healthcare and household products from around the world. Apart from licensed franchisees and restaurants, the new store is the first GMS of the Group to house Chinese restaurants and its own brand TOPVALU specialty store. It aims to offer more diverse choices to customers at reasonable prices and create a convenient, enjoyable one-stop shopping experience for customers in both Kowloon and the New Territories.
